Some people carry the herpes virus inside them and never feel its presence even once. Others are plagued by it again and again. Red, painful blisters make themselves felt on the lip, for example, and cause pain and discomfort.

It is important that you leave the itchy herpes blisters alone so that they can heal on their own and the viruses do not spread further. The fluid in the blisters is highly contagious.

With natural methods such as the individual spagyric sprays from Zimply Natural, complaints can be treated and sustainably alleviated.

Our tips for herpes

If you are suffering acutely from active herpes viruses, we have a few tips and home remedies for you, how you can support the healing of herpes:

1. cold

Before herpes becomes visible, you can usually already feel it. The skin area itches, tingles or burns and you can immediately sense something bad. Treatment can begin even before the outbreak of herpes. Viruses have an aversion to cold, which is why it can help to carefully cool the area with an ice cube.

2. home remedy

On the skin surface itself, apart from antiviral creams, you can also use various home remedies. Not every remedy works the same for everyone, so always be careful when trying them out.

  • Thin slices of a Turmeric root can be placed on the affected area and are said to inhibit the multiplication of herpes viruses.
  • The gel from a Aloe vera Leaf also has antiviral and additional antibacterial effect and can accelerate the healing process.
  • The tannins in black or green tea have an anti-inflammatory effect. To do this, steep a tea bag in hot water for one minute, cool and then place it on the affected skin area for a few minutes.

3. hygiene

Let the herpes be herpes and do not abuse it by too many treatments and too much touching. If you want to apply a cream or ointment to the area, use a cotton swab instead of your finger and wash your hands regularly. Hygiene is super important in acute herpes to avoid spreading the viruses to yourself and others, but also to prevent bacteria from entering the herpes.

Our tips for the prevention of herpes

You can take action even before herpes breaks out. Don't give herpes viruses a chance and protect yourself from new herpes blisters by taking care of your body and strengthening your immune system:

1. avoid stress

High physical stress or psychological Anti-Stress represents a great challenge for the entire organism. Stress weakens the immune system and therefore gives the viruses a chance to become active again. The herpes viruses wake up from their dormant state and make themselves noticeable on the surface of the skin. So if your herpes outbreaks occur especially when you don't have a head for it, it's not by chance. Your body reminds you that it is just too much - slow down!

2. protect lips

Rough and dry lips are generally more susceptible to the herpes virus, as the skin is irritated or the skin barrier is disturbed. Make sure to care for your lips sufficiently. Special care products with valuable oils such as jojoba oil, olive oil or shea butter are well suited for this. You should also protect your lips from high UV radiation. We often put cream on our face and leave our lips without protection. There are special lip balms with a sun protection factor for this purpose. If the herpes has already formed, too strong sunlight should be avoided completely.

3. strengthen immune system

The best prevention against herpes is a strong immune defense. Make sure that you eat a balanced diet. Especially vitamin C, magnesium and zinc ensure a strong immune system. In addition, you should drink enough water for your general health, get enough sleep and keep yourself physically fit through exercise. Take care of yourself and your body!

These medicinal plants can help you with a herpes rash

The herpes viruses are among the most common viral infections. Many tend to lie dormant in the body. Since the Mugwort antimicrobial, it acts against the viruses, reducing their population and helping the immune system to overcome and contain the infection. These include cold sores as well as shingles or the human papilloma virus, which is associated with the development of cervical cancer.

The Cistus is antimicrobial. According to various tests, its effect is directed against viruses, bacteria and fungi. It can therefore be used successfully both internally and externally to combat skin infections and colds.

An important feature of the Melissa is that it has an antiviral effect. The various types of herpes viruses in particular are sensitive to treatment with lemon balm in the laboratory and in practice. For example, lemon balm is successfully used to treat cold sores. But lemon balm oil should also be considered for the treatment of shingles. On the one hand, it is extremely skin caring and on the other, it kills herpes viruses. As a result, the inflammation and (nerve) pain recede and the shingles wound can heal quickly.

An overstimulated sympathetic nervous system also always means an activated stress hormone cascade of the adrenal cortex. The adrenal gland secretes adrenaline and cortisol. The adrenaline makes us nervous and ready to conduct. The cortisol inhibits inflammation, raises blood sugar levels so we have energy, and inhibits the immune system. As a result, we are more susceptible to infections and get sick more easily. Kava-Kava calms the nervous system and subsequently the adrenal glands. Cortisol decreases and our immune system can do its work freely again.

Propolis has an anti-inflammatory effect due to its enzymes and an antiviral and antibacterial effect due to its flavonoids such as pinocembrin. It is therefore suitable for treating all types of inflammation and can be tried. Propolis can be applied externally to wounds of all kinds. It has proven effective for sunburn, skin abrasions or cuts. Propolis has a disinfectant effect and its enzymes promote wound healing. The wound heals faster and better.

Herpes diseases are caused by different herpes viruses and therefore also cause different herpes manifestations. Herpes can therefore appear as cold sores, chickenpox, shingles or similar. All herpes viruses have the property of lingering in the body and emerging when the immune system is weak. The Swallowwort helps to reduce the amount of herpes viruses and thus relieves the body and its immune system.

Application of the spagyric spray for herpes

Basically, the application of the spagyric medicinal plant mixtures always aims at a long-term & sustainable effect. Therefore, the sprays should be taken regularly for at least 6-8 weeks. Thus, not only short-term symptoms are suppressed, but the causes of the disease are addressed. The treatment is individual and depends strongly on the personal needs of the individual.

For herpes, as well as for the other areas of application, we recommend continuous intake of the spray into the mouth, so that the essences can be absorbed directly through the mucous membranes. As a rule, three times per day 3 sprays are provided. In case of acute complaints, you can always slightly increase the dosage to give your body, mind and soul the information of the medicinal plants more often. Here the principle applies: Better once too much than once too little sprayed.

Special feature for acute herpes rash:

In case of painful, burning herpes blisters caused by an acute viral infection, you can additionally spray your spagyric spray directly onto the affected skin area. The local application increases the concentration of the medicinal plant information. Once the acute herpes is over, it is recommended to continue taking the spray to prevent a new outbreak, strengthen the immune system and keep the virus at bay.
